Philosophy & Vision
Hi, I'm Jade. I'm a clinical psychologist focused on supporting adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, OCD and related disorders, including skin picking and hair pulling. I understand the shame and isolation that often accompany these conditions, and how tough it can feel to reach out for support. I aim to create a compassionate therapy space, to help you feel accepted and able to share openly.
It's normal to feel unsure about reaching out. I hope this profile gives you a small sense of who I am and helps you gauge whether we may be a good fit.
Background
I have worked as a psychologist for 5 years, and spent almost a decade prior working in mental health and support services. Since becoming a psychologist I have worked in private practice, research and multiple public health services, supporting children, adolescents and adults with a range of mental health challenges.
My clinical focus includes all anxiety disorders, including panic attacks and phobias, OCD and body focused repetitive behaviours. I also really enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, supporting their mental health as they navigate that transitional life stage.

Therapy Approach
It's important that therapy feels both supportive and effective. My goal is to make therapy a place that feels safe, accepting and worthwhile.
Starting therapy can feel really big and often comes with hesitation. Sometimes the nature of anxiety or OCD can make starting therapy feel scary. My approach involves meeting you where you're at, supporting you to make change at a pace that feels manageable.
Anxiety, OCD and body focused repetitive behaviours share similar cycles that can be incredibly hard to break. To target these cycles, sessions will often involve working together to understand what drives these patterns, using evidence-based approaches, including ERP, ACT, CBT and HRT/ComB, to interrupt them.
