Philosophy & Vision
Many of the people I work with come to counselling because they feel stuck in their relationships, in patterns of anxiety or self-doubt, or in the impact of difficult past experiences. I support adults and couples navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, addiction and major life transitions.
My approach is warm, practical and non-judgmental. Together, we explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build greater understanding of yourself and your relationships, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with more confidence, connection and clarity.
Background
Before establishing Mind Over Chatter, I spent over 15 years working in community mental health, supporting people through trauma, addiction, severe mental illness, hoarding disorder and other complex life challenges.
As a Senior Case Manager with Mission Australia, I worked closely with hospitals, GPs, government agencies and community services to coordinate care and support people through periods of significant stress and change.
In private practice, I now work primarily with adults and couples, with a focus on relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, addiction and major life transitions. I also provide resilience coaching for media personalities and social media influences navigating the pressures of public life.
Services
Appointments are available in person and via secure Telehealth, making support accessible wherever you are in Australia. I offer flexible appointments in a calm, confidential setting where we can work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My goal is to provide a consistent, supportive therapeutic relationship that helps you navigate challenges, gain new perspectives and make positive changes that fit your life.
Quality Provision
I am committed to providing ethical, professional and client-centered care in a safe, respectful and confidential environment. As a PACFA clinically registered counsellor, I adhere to the PACFA Code of Ethics, engage in regular supervision and ongoing professional development and use evidence-based practice to ensure high quality care for every client.
