Philosophy & Vision

My name is Sasha Brittain, and I'm a master's degree qualified ACA Registered Counsellor. I provide integrative and depth-oriented counselling for adults to heal from the impacts of childhood trauma, childhood emotional neglect and family of origin wounds. I provide a compassionate space for self-discovery, healing, and growth. I work collaboratively with clients to address what is 'seen', such as symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, as well as the 'unseen' and unresolved emotional wounds, such as grief and shame. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so all appointments are tailored to the specific needs of each client. I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches such as EFIT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Inner Child Work. I provide counselling that goes beyond symptom management, supporting clients to improve their mental health, emotional wellbeing and relationships.
