My formative and early professional years were in Northern Ireland during extreme civil strife. I had a range of administrative, and fieldwork positions in social services. Since migrating to Australia in 1976, I have worked in mainly mental health contexts. Since 2000, I have had a private therapy practice, with an emphasis on music psychotherapy.
