I like working with people with complex trauma and dissociation. I appreciate that some of your difficulties are trauma responses that helped you survive in the past, we just need to update to help you feel better now. Informed by Internal Family Systems, EMDR Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

I am a very experienced psychologist who offers a warm therapy relationship. Embarking on a therapy journey with me will lead to greater insights into your difficulties and you will learn strategies to help you overcome your challenges. During the process, you will experience personal growth enabling you to live a more optimal and fulfilling life.

I have extensive experience with addictions, and specialise in working with the family members of people who use drugs, alcohol, gambling, or have complex mental health needs. I provide a safe, non-judgemental place for you to ask questions, explore the reasons why addiction has become a part of your life, and make choices for positive change.

I am passionate about helping you to resolve the impact of trauma on the mind-body. Early life experiences greatly influence how we experience life today. Therapy gradually helps unshackle us from the past, so we are free to respond rather than re-act to life events and loved ones.

Internal Family Systems, IFS is the primary approach I use. This can support you address compulsive or unwanted behaviours, perfectionism, relationship challenges, unresolved grief & anger issues, intrusive recurring thoughts, lack of self worth, or even just move towards greater self understanding and acceptance.
